Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

I am not a person to really attend many events on campus, although im sure i would benefit from it. But when we went to this event today i didnt realize how many people would come out and support a group. This is a great idea and i think that everyone involved did a great job. I didn't stay for very long because i had some other things i had to get done. But the 20 minutes that i was there really made me realize how nice our campus is and how great our students are. They can come together for anything and support each other.

The beginning started off with someone introducing the event. Then the girls who were "ass slapped" last week spoke. Now i already wrote my opinion on this topic, but i thought it was nice that the girls were allowed to speak their feelings in front of people who supported them. I dont think that everything that happened should have. Everything was blown way out of proportion, but either way they were assaulted and something needed to happen. Either way my point is that they got to be in front of people who were supporting women not being assaulted and i thought it was very fitting to allow them to speak their minds. BRAVO :)
