I thought it would be funny to take my 3 favorite shows and combine them into my life. The 3 shows are One Tree Hill, Supernatural, and The Big Bang Theory. So my life will be called One Supernatural Theory. As I sit here waiting to my class for this to work I have to set up some hegemony according to the shows. First no matter how many times you go after your best friend’s man you will still be friends and end up with the guy in the end. All nannies are crazy, will try to steal your kid, and kidnap your father-in-law. Next the monster in your closet is real and so are angels and demons. The apocalypse is going to start because of two brothers traveling brothers who hunt and kill monsters. Finally, every single person is an extremely smart comic book loving nerd except for one blonde girl. With the hegemony set a typical week on campus would start out with a strange disappearance of a student that is related to a campus legend. Let’s say that a certain Comm. Professor is really a shape shifter and she likes to kill her students. Well they show up to figure out if it’s true or not and what happened. They go off on their way. By midweek Jenna (friend) has confessed to Kristen (another friend) her love for Steven (Kristen’s boyfriend). Kristen breaks-up with Steven and disowns Jenna vowing to never talk to her again. Jenna and Steven decide to not do anything for Kristen’s sake because they both care for her. All the while a new babysitter comes to watch over Lucas (nephew) and Skye (niece). She is from the next town over so she seems trustworthy. By Friday the brothers have solved the case and it is not a shape shifting Comm. Professor, but one of the four horsemen. Remember I said the apocalypse had started. Kristen had forgiven Jenna and Steven and decided to give Steven another chance. The babysitter is starting to act a little weird calling herself mommy. All the while I and my nerdy friends bowl against the dreaded Will Wheaton because he lied about his me maw.
